Sennheiser HD 555 audiophile headphones

Sennheiser HD 555 Audiophile Fusion Stereo Headphones:

After looking for a few months, I bought a set of Sennheiser HD 555 audiophile headphones. I had been in the market for a headset that I could use to meet my listening needs: music,gaming, and watching movies. These HD555's didn't let me down. I was completely blown away by the sound quality these cans delivered.

Clarity:

Sound quality is astounding with these Sennheiser HD 555 stereo headphones. I've used them on all my portable devices and found them to be crystal clear. They absolutely magnify your listening experience. I could hear each detail of the music. It had been as if I was there LIVE.

I experienced the same level of sound quality while watching my favorite movies or gaming.

For example, the movie Gladiator was awesome to watch particularly when they were fighting inside the Colosseum. The roar of the crowd was unbelievable. I felt like I was their watching the games take place.

Comfort:

Now this can be a real drawback if your like me and wear glasses. I've had difficulties with alternative headsets where they would shove the frames of my glasses into the side of my head. I couldn't wear them for long periods of time without discomfort. My Sennheisers HD 555 Headphones work exceptionally well with my glasses. Because of the velour ear-pads they create a perfect seal around my ears without being uncomfortable.

At 9.2 oz. (260 g) these aren't the lightest headphones I've ever worn, but this hasn't been that big of a problem. I've been able to wear these headphones for hours without any fatigue.

Cost:

These cans deliver allot of bang for the buck. You could spend allot more for some of the higher end headphones but for the money I found these to work extremely well.

Sennheiser definitely makes quality headphones, and prior to buying this, I owned Sennheiser HD-202, which seem to be the most popular Sennheiser model on Amazon. The only complaint I had with the 202's was that they hurt my ears after a while. Plus, I had some extra cash to burn and I wanted awesome headphones that would last me a very, very long time. Here s where the 555 comes in.
